Both solids show the same front view — an L shape. The dashed lines are hidden edges: real edges you couldn't see from the front, lurking behind.
A single view can fit more than one solid. The dashed hidden edges are the giveaway that there's depth you can't see. That's why you usually need front + side + top to pin a solid down for sure.
